16 students from Islamic University nominated for Science and Technology Fellowship

Under the research project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, 16 students of Islamic University (IU) have been nominated for the National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship in the financial year 2021-2022. This information has been collected from the website of the Ministry of Science and Technology. Among the nominees for the fellowship are four in the physics category, 11 in the biology and medical sciences and one in the renewal group. Sabbir Ahmed, Md. Al-Amin Milon, Mehrab Hossain Fahim, Zahurul Haque, Md. Masudur Rahman, Md. Nazmul Huda and Humaira Afia of the Department of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering received a Fellowship in Biology and Medical Sciences. Tania Akhter, Tamanna Khatun, Rikta Khatun of the Department of Applied Nutrition and Food Technology and Tania Afroz Toma of the Department of Information and Communication Engineering have been nominated for the Fellowship. Under the Physics category, Tahmina Khandakar Mitu and Mubashshira Mukta of the Department of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering; Shahidul Islam of the Department of Biotechnology and Ramprasad Debnath of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering; Md. Nasir Uddin Khan of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department have been nominated for fellowship under renewal group. According to the Ministry of Science and Technology, a total of 2,446 students are getting fellowships in the three categories of Physics, Biology and Medicine and Food and Agriculture.
